Each team must perform a 13-minute routine including the same 8-minute compulsory drill sequence commanded by a Team Captain, and then perform a 5-minute precision drill sequence, with no words of command, that has been created by the cadets. The teams, and the Team Captains are marked by 4 judges, and ranked based on their performance, dress and deportment.

​​​​​​​Each team begins with a specific amount of points; dress infractions and drill errors cause points to be deducted to determine the team's final score.

Cadets from various training levels conduct a multitude of drill movements ranging from basic to advance levels in preparation for various local, zone, regional, and national competitions. Cadets in the drill team are held to a high standard of drill, dress, and deportment.

​​​​​​​Drill team cadets are part of an exclusive team within the squadron and are expected to uphold high standards at all times.

Practices are held on Tuesdays between 17:00 and 1830 hrs. New member are welcome to join between September and November.
